Crimes, Morals, Ethics, & Lying

Too Much To Cover… But let’s start anyway.

There are more ethical people than unethical people in today’s world. I never thought about it, but I agree.

I only lie, cheat, and act immorally and unethically if I am likely to get away with it. But I don’t want to think about this.

I never lie, cheat, act immorally and unethically except when I state that “I never lie, cheat, and act immorally and unethically.” Why would I ever think about this?

Is it worse, that is, less good, to be immoral or amoral? I don’t understand this issue.

If you are a lawyer, is it possible to be ethical most of the time? I wouldn’t even try.

If you are a lawyer is it possible to tell the truth most of the time? I wouldn’t even try.

I don’t concern myself with lying, cheating, and being immoral and unethical. Why should I?

An act is not immoral, unethical unless it directly hurts someone. How could I know?

Should all immoral, unethical acts be crimes under the law? If so, everyone would be in jail.

If I steal something and then use it for a good purpose, was it a crime to steal? I better not think about this point.

If in my business I promote a less worthy person ahead of a more worthy person for an irrelevant reason, is that ethical?  (Disregard the wise business practice aspect.) The government will not allow me to think about this point.

If in my business I promote a less worthy person ahead of a more worthy person for an irrelevant reason, am I treating the less worthy person ethically? Again, I’m not allowed to think about this.

If in my business I hold back a more worthy person because I need to promote a less worthy person, is that ethical?

If I don’t cooperate as much as I can with my team members, is that unethical?

If as an employee, I don’t work to my full potential, am I being unethical? I better not think about this point.

If I don’t work to my full potential, do I earn all the money I am paid?
